Who we are
White City Labs is an independent product studio. Questions about your data can be sent to whitecitylabs.com. Data controller: Ivan Marić.
This policy covers this website. Each product has its own privacy policy, published on the product's site or linked from its store page.
What we collect and why
Contact form: your name, email address, message and, if you came from a product's support link, which product it is about. We use them only to read and answer your message. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in replying to people who write to us, or the steps you ask us to take.
Abuse protection: while a message is being sent, your IP address is held briefly in the server's memory to limit repeated submissions. It is not written to a database or combined with anything else.
Server logs: like any website, the server records technical data for each request (IP address, time, requested page, browser type) to keep the service secure and working. These logs are kept for a short time and then deleted.
What we do not do
This website has no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies. We do not sell or share your data for marketing.
Your light or dark theme choice, and a note that you have already seen the opening animation, are stored only in your browser (local storage). During a visit the browser also keeps a few display settings for that tab (session storage). None of this is sent to us, and you can clear it in your browser settings.
Who else receives data
The website runs on a server in the European Union (Germany). Contact messages are delivered to our inbox by an email service that sends from the European Union; part of its processing, such as delivery logs, takes place in the United States and relies on standard contractual clauses. Both process data only on our behalf.
How long we keep it
Messages are kept as long as the conversation needs them and for a reasonable time afterwards in case you follow up, then deleted, unless we must keep them to meet a legal obligation or to establish or defend a legal claim.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. Write to whitecitylabs.com.
You can also complain to a data protection authority, such as the one in the country where you live, or the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection, which supervises us.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published here with a new date.
